Help memorlize my grandma so I can keep her ashes
Donation protected
I'm asking my friends, family, and their friends and family for the money to have her ashes memorialized. Unfortunately when my grandma and I found this one specific site she decided she wanted some of her ashes to be blown into glass. The piece she picked was 600$ ive however found a cheaper and better piece to wear and carry with me and keep her close. I know the monetary help im asking for is for myself because I promised her before she passed I would honor her. Please donate however little it may be. Your kindness, love and empathy mean everything to me. I am disabled so I can't risk purchasing her glass work without causing more hardship in my life.
The cost will be close to 310.00$ for her ash to be hand blown into the glass art. Any remaining money will be going to some of her final wishes which were having some of her quilts finished because she didn't have the chance and to finish my tattoo of a mermaid she had handmade and created with cross stitching.
Her presence is apprent here as we used to joke shed haunt us and maybe throw a book, and well on the same day both my dad and I had a book mysteriously get a bit thrown off the shelves. I feel thats her saying to hurry up and do what she told me to do, and I want to do it as well.
Beloved grandma Gloria passed peacfully in the early morning of March 22nd 2024.
She raised 3 children in her life, she was born in Pasadena California in February 1946.
She moved to Vegas sometime in 1990 and purchased a home we lived in for almost 20 years, when we moved to Hawaii in 2009 we Unfortunately also lost the house in Vegas to foreclosure. She worked at the Rio during that time and anyone who knew her cared for her, she made friends easily and was always determined strong and kind. She is missed by everyone who knows her.
She moved to Hawaii with her son Christopher and me , her granddaughter on March 11th 2009, We camped in mud and laughed at bugs being zapped. She somehow had the bravery at her age to camp and rough it out until we had built our dream. Not everything we planned happened they changed and new goals were made and happened.
She could be down to earth and always cared deeply for nature and animals. She brightened the lives of many.
Thank you for your donation, you are supporting us in helping her final wishes happen and giving us the ability to complete what she's asked.
