Belmont School Lego League

Hello, we are Belmont School in Harrow Wealdstone.

A request written by one of our students.

We are the Belmont School Lego League. My name is Chloe and I am in Year 6 at Belmont School. I am writing this message to ask you to contribute a donation towards our Lego League School Team.

Lego League is made up of many different challenges built from Lego. We learn how to use coding skills and imagination to program a robot which we build ourselves. The robot has a purpose to conquer missions and earn points for our team.

Our school were able to participate for the first time this year against other schols, thanks to Sponsorship money we raised last year. We placed very high in our regional competition. We are looking to compete again next academic year too.

Your money would be used towards purchasing the below for our school so we are able to build the challenges for Lego League competitions.

Without this amount of money, the school will not be able to pay for the Lego League clubs and enrichment activities. The Lego League trips are a good cause because they involve core values. The core values are teamwork, fun, inclusion, discovery, innovation and impact. When we go on these trips, they help us experience other core values like teamwork and discovery.

We are asking for contributions to help us reach our target - £1700. Any contribution is welcome as it will make a massive change to our school. I am grateful for you giving up your time to read this letter. If you make contributions now, then the pupils in Lego League at my school will get more chances to explore with Lego, and allow us to in compete in competitions.
