Belmont Bus Crash - Mathew Brydon

This fundraiser is for Mathew Brydons family so they can be by his side while he is in hospital.

Mathew Brydon recently turned 18 and ventured into Newcastle city to enjoy a night on the town with mates. They caught the bus home - they did the right thing, the safe thing.

But they weren't safe. The bus hit a concrete barrier and overturned into a ditch.

Mathew was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital suffering spinal injuries. He has since undergone spinal surgery and hasn't regained feeling in his legs.

His family are by his side while they wait to understand the extent of the injuries and how long he will be in hospital. While they are by his side, we're here for them.
