Bell's Medical Bills -Need Help!

About a month ago, Bell started having diarrhea and vomiting. Then there was a dark urine that prompted me to make an appt with the vet. Bloodwork showed liver enzymes were through the roof and an ultrasound showed nodules throughout the liver, on the spleen and enlarged lymph nodes. As time progressed, she very quickly started to loose weight and I was worried about cancer. Soon, she lost her appetite which is definitely not like her. She's also dealt with dehydration and I have been giving her sq fluids at home.
Bell just turned 15 yrs old on June 16th and I felt that she wanted to spend a quiet day at home. We just sat on the couch all day. That evening, I noticed some mental changes and felt she needed 24 hr supportive care. On the way to the hospital, she had a seizure and then went unresponsive in the car. I had to rush to the nearest ER to get her stabilized before transferring to the hospital I really wanted to take her to where I knew I could stay by her side. This hospital was still an hour away from where we were on the road, and it was 4 hrs from home. Upon arrival at the first ER, she finally woke up and started coming back. They gave her fluids, anti-nausea meds and stabilized her for the ride to the hospital we were originally going to.
When we arrived to our destination, her BP was low, temp was high, glucose was normal, ammonia was normal but her sodium was very high. They believe this is what caused the seizure. Her WBCs were also very high. They started working to reduce the sodium level by pushing water through an NG tube along with Ensure. A central line was also placed to monitor the Na level, she was given IV fluids and other meds to stabilize her BP and pain meds.
For the most part, she has been resting comfortably and her vitals have been stable since that first night. Yesterday was her best day so far where she was very alert and engaging with everyone around her. I went to get a small slice of cheesecake to finally celebrate her birthday with her since she did not feel very well that day.
This morning, I was hoping to take her home to be comfortable and let her have the rest of her time there. However, she has showed me signs that this may not be the best option for her. We have had incredible support from the staff at the hospital and I really appreciate all they have done. However, it is very expensive to stay. I am torn between taking her home and risking what could happen on the 4 hr ride and have to deal with everything myself or have the support we need at the hospital.
I am asking for help with her medical bills so I can give my beautiful baby girl the care she needs and deserves. Please help. I understand these are difficult times and ask for whatever you can afford. Bell & I really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Mary
