Help Us Save Our Sweet Frenchie’s Life

Hi friends,

We never imagined we’d be in this position, but our sweet Frenchie needs surgery – and we could really use some help. This isn’t easy to share, and asking for support doesn’t come naturally to us. But after doing everything we can-tightening our budget, talking with our vet, and exploring every option- we’re reaching out to our community for support.

About two years ago, we welcomed a sweet little Frenchie into our home. Her previous owners could no longer care for her, and we thought we were simply giving her a second chance at life—a safe, loving home with a new brother to play with all day. What we didn’t know was that she had been silently suffering from complications left untreated from a past C-section.

Our vet recently gave us unexpected news: not only does she have multiple hernias but she has a rapidly growing hernia that is now causing her organs to shift out of place. After consulting with two vets, a specialist and multiple rounds of x-rays, they’ve concluded that without emergency surgery, not only could the pain get worse but her organs could end up strangled by the hernias.

The cost of surgery is $2,000 – which includes the bloodwork, the surgery to repair the hernia, the medications and the aftercare. We’re doing everything we can—working with our vet on a payment plan and cutting costs where we can —but we’re still coming up short.
