Bella’s Urgent Medical Care

My friend Angelica has been an active part of the Portland pet community for years and has assisted many dogs throughout her career. Her sweet girl Bella is now battling a severe case of pneumonia. Bella has been in and out of the vet for the past two weeks but she has not been getting much better.

She’s now been transferred to a 24-hour ER facility in Vancouver, WA, where she can get around-the-clock treatment and care from specialists. She luckily seems to be improving, but this has quickly become extremely expensive.

Bella is Angelica’s world and has been her rock for the past 8 years. If you have ever met her, you know that she is one very special dog. She loves everyone she meets, and you can’t help but love her back. She has a zest for life, and we know she can get through this!

As many of you know, Angelica would never ask for help so I chose to make this fundraiser.

Currently vet bills are up to around $8,500, and she will most likely need a few more checkups, X-rays, meds and care once discharged from the ER. Pet insurance will(hopefully) cover some of this, but the reimbursement limit is almost reached and the remainder will be out of pocket plus additional costs are estimated to be at least $1,500.

If you are able to help with anything, we will be so, so grateful. What matters most to us is that Bella gets the best treatment and recovers to her normal goofy self.
