Hello everyone. We are trying to raise funds for vet treatment for Bella after she ran away from home after a loud firework scared her making her bolt.

Bella was at home in the kitchen at tea time on bonfire night. As the door was opened a loud firework went off close by this made Bella run out of the door.

She was only sighted once at 5.30pm running scared past a local public house. Despite hours of searching by a lot of people she couldn't be found.

6 long days and nights had people out looking for her. Thermal drones were brought in to try help locate Bella. Every possible sightings was followed up but we still didn't find her.

Then the break through came someone spotted a black dog curled up, pushed right into a cliff bottom on the beach 3 miles away.

Bella's owner Rich rushed straight there. Bella recognised Rich straight away but she couldn't move. She was in a bad way .

Bella was rushed straight to the vets. She had lost some claws she had a cut on her back end very dehydrated, and hungry.

Once she arrived at the vets they got to work in her straight away. She was placed on a drip and rested in a safe warm place. Scans and x rays were taken along with blood tests.

These tests showed Bella had a bad infection in her back leg and the tissue surrounding her bladder. They also showed she has a fracture to her pelvis. Further tests have now shown she also has snapped her Cruciate ligament in her rear knee, which is going to require surgery to repair this in the coming weeks.

The treatment Bella already has had and the lengthy stay in the vets as well as this surgery is very costly. Bella is insured however this will not cover the full costs of Bella's treatment.

We are reaching out to attempt to raise some funds for her ongoing treatment.

This is the direct result of fireworks. The heartbreak this family have gone through, no one should go through. The pain and suffering Bella's has endured and is still enduring shouldn't happen.
