Bella's Emergency Surgery: Please Help

Urgent Help for Bella (aka Chunky Monkey) – Emergency Surgery Needed

Hi everyone,

Our dog Bella — lovingly nicknamed Chunky Monkey — needs your help.

She’s an 8-year-old mix of Pug, Staffordshire, and German Shepherd, but really, she’s just a big ol’ overgrown pug with the kindest heart and the funniest little personality.

Tonight, we came home to something no pet owner ever wants to see. There was blood everywhere — on her dog bed, the floor, her belly, her back. Bella was lying next to her bed, weak and scared. A growth on her front left leg had burst. We had planned surgery for June 30th, but clearly, Bella couldn’t wait.

We rushed her to Woodland West Animal Hospital, where Dr. Bayless is ready to operate — but the only available date is this Thursday, June 5th. We’re doing everything we can to come up with the funds, but I just started a new job on June 2nd, and this was nowhere in our budget.

This surgery is vital to remove the growth, stop further bleeding, and send it for biopsy to find out if it’s cancer or something else that might come back.

Bella is more than a dog — she’s our family. She’s been by our side through life’s highs and lows. Right now, she needs us, and we’re humbly asking for any help — big or small — to give her the care she deserves.
