<<<<< 9/25 Update! >>>>>> It's with great JOY that I am able to write this update. I have just arrived now safely in Arco, Italy! Traveling internationally solo (actually first time ever traveling solo!) was the by far the biggest/bravest/scariest thing I've ever done. I'm so relieved I am here and am filled with such peace and joy as I start this new adventure.
INCREDIBLY - I wanted to let everyone know that my original Fundraiser has been fully funded! Praise the Lord!!! Thank you each and everyone for investing in my life. I am so, so, so overwhelming grateful for your generosity! I still can't believe it. (HUGS ALL!)
Amazingly, as new people are hearing/following my journey now via Instagram , I am getting many requests asking what my additional travel & outreach expenses have been to go that people could help fund.
Crazy! Who asks that!?! I am SO Blown Away!
SO, once again I am humbly now setting a new campaign goal to help cover these expenses. When I totaled it all, that number feels almost too excessive for me but it includes everything such as a Visa-required health insurance for the 6 months, my check in luggage expense, all outreach supplies, etc. Thank you all for your generosity and support. It means so, so much to me.

I am support raising for my 6 month Discipleship Training School that is starting Sept. 24th. in Arco, Italy with Youth with a Mission Trentio
My Story:
Having just graduated high school, I was at a cross roads in my heart of what I was to do next. I naturally was thinking college, to follow my brothers footsteps and head to CU Boulder. However, CU is expensive and I wasn't feeling certain on what I was to study. I then was determined to simply start with community college at Red Rocks here in Arvada, CO to get core classes done...hoping that the time starting there would allow for me to further figure it all out. I was accepted to both CU Boulder and Red Rock as was set to go....yet I had this gnawing in my heart it wasn't the right immediate next step.
I often have asked my parent's about their life experiences and what helped them grow and mature, and they often then tell of stories of experiencing God with others in community, globally. My parents met as students in Youth with a Mission and served with them several years. They experienced transformational relationship, especially when they were students. I desire such growth with God and others.
I am crazy nervous to make such a step without my known comfort of family and home - but my heart feels this a great faith step for me to take. I truly hope to grow in my love for God and be able to boldly share his love with others.
Why Italy?
When I considered such a discipleship season, I wanted to experience God and others outside of my known culture. My parents helped me look worldwide. We then came across this smaller Youth with a Mission location in Northern Italy. Cost, leadership and timing were the major factors that I was weighing - and this location was one of the cheapest internationally. We also then called and directly talked to the leadership to find out that we have very close friends that are direct friends with them. My prayers to find a right location and time have felt like they have come together with this location in Italy.
How much do you need to raise?
This part is humbling. I don't like to feel needy, irresponsible or not competent for my needs. I've worked hard in school to excel to prepare for college knowing that financial responsibility and meeting expenses are vital. My parents have committed to helping w my college experience after ywam, but have encouraged me to step out in faith and raise support for this.
Missions support is hard. I have known and seen it through others I've known that are missionaries. In faith, it's my turn for this season now. SO, in great vulnerability I'm going for it , asking for financial support and prayer for all my needs for this to be fully funded before I leave on Sept. 24th. Below is the full breakdown of my support needs.
