Bella's Cancer Battle: Surgery Fundraiser

My name is Kate and on June 1, 2017 my partner, Antonio, and I were lucky enough to adopt Schrodinger & Arabella.

Arabella, or Belle, Bella, Belly-bear, Barryella, and many other names is a little grey tabby. Schrodinger was firmly, decidedly, and exclusively Antonio's kitty but Bella stole my heart. She is feisty and sassy, opinionated, sweet, silly, and the best snuggler. She loves to "hunt" and play with her catnip mouse, she greets me at the door with tales of her day, and is one of my greatest joys. When Antonio died in 2021, Bella got both her sister Schrodie and I through those long moths of grief.

Unfortunately, I recently learned Bella has cancer. She has a tumor on her rear left knee that needs to be removed urgently. The good news is that the type of cancer she has is not likely to recur or metastasize. The bad news is, the surgery and aftercare are more expensive than I can afford right now.

I was hesitant to start this go fund me but at the encouragement of a few friends, I decided it is worth a shot. If you are able to help or willing to share, please know you have my eternal gratitude.
