Help Support Bella and Her Family After ATV Accident

On May 10th, sisters Bella and Audri were involved in a serious ATV accident. While Audri (10) was thankfully released from the hospital with only minor injuries, Bella (14) suffered significant trauma, was medi-flighted, and is currently in the ICU. She was placed in a medically induced coma and intubated so her lungs could begin to heal.

Miraculously, Bella began showing signs of responsiveness, and her doctors are encouraged by her neurological progress. A spinal injury was ruled out (praise Him!), but she has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury known as diffuse axonal injury. Bella was able to be extubated on May 14th — a huge milestone in her recovery.

While these are incredible strides in Bella’s miracle story, her journey to healing will require time, specialized rehabilitation care, and continued support.

Bella is a strong, brave girl with a fighting spirit. Her parents, Deidra and Fernando, have not left her side. Fernando has stepped away from work to be fully present for Bella during her recovery and rehabilitation. The family is leaning on their faith, their community, and the love surrounding them to get through each day.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden this accident has placed on their family. Donations will go toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, travel, and daily living needs — allowing Deidra and Fernando to focus solely on Bella’s healing.
