Bella Kicks Cancer
Donation protected
On August 1, our lives forever changed. Our precious Bella, who just celebrated her 10th birthday, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.
There is treatment, however, it will be a long and arduous journey; she will need multiple types of treatments like chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, immunotherapy and stem cell transplants. Her total treatment will last for a year and a half.
Our little girl is the bravest person we know. As a 10 year old she doesn't know very much about cancer. But she remains in remarkably good spirits. By looking at her, you wouldn't think anything is wrong with her. Oakland Kaiser also has been truly amazing, very informative and has an excellent program for children with cancer.
Fortunately, Rob and I have medical insurance which should cover much of the medical expenses. But it won't cover all medical expenses. So we will be using these funds for Bella's special care, travel expenses for our families, adjustments for her comfort to our family homes, and her long term care. Please consider donating to help with any medical bills and expenses related to Bella's recovery. A portion of your donation will go to raise awareness for neuroblastoma. Any donation amount is truly appreciated.
Equally as important as monetary donations, are your prayers. Please continue to pray for Bella, our family, friends, doctors, and nurses. We all believe in the power of prayer. I'm grateful and thankful for our community, for your prayers, well wishes, love and support.. CUZZ WE FULLY INTEND TO KICK CANCER'S BUTT!!!
Please feel free to share with your family and friends.
