Hi! My name is Bella, I am a 9 month old tabby kitten and I came to live with my forever family in January of this year (2025). Unfortunately I have been quite unwell before I came to live with them and since my arrival, with a very poorly tummy and lots of accidents. My family have been very thorough, and I have had lots of tests including stool samples and blood work done at my local vets (already costing them over £1000!), and tried a variety of diets recommended by different specialists. I have now been referred to a specialist veterinary centre an hour away from my home for more investigations and treatments to try and help me get better. I need an ultrasound scan of my tummy and maybe even a faecal transplant going forward, and the specialist centre have estimated this will cost a further £2000, but possibly even more. My insurance won’t cover any of the costs as it classes as a pre-existing condition - however that won’t stop my family! They have said they’ll do anything to help me get better ☺️
