Give Bella a fighting chance at cancer
Spende geschützt
Hi My name is Zarah and I am trying to raise money for my beautiful 1 year old cat Bella.
Anything you can donate big or small will help pay towards a scan or chemotherapy helping to save Beautiful Bella's life.
Bella came into my life when I probably needed her more than she needed me. It was instant unconditional love from her and me. Never did I think one year after my small baby would be fighting cancer.
Bella follows me around all day, likes to speak to the birds. She loves it when her dad plays with her feather wand toy and calls her his little lion. Her favourite food is the special chicken her grandad makes her. She answers to her name always and you just know she knows what you're saying. She loves playing with her favourite toys and running after feathers and bells. Her favourite sound is when her treat bag shakes or the water tap comes on. She's a nosey little cat who runs to the front door every time the door bell rings. She loves falling asleep in the sunlight or on my furry blanket on my bed.
My favourite thing is when she curls up and covers her eyes with her paws.
The pain I am feeling is unimaginable and I'm sure nearly all pet mothers and father's would understand this to be their worst nightmare.
Bella was struggling to breathe on 31st May where she was taken to the vet who found fluid on her chest. We managed to relieve the fluid but had to run multiple tests. Unfortunately we didn't have insurance for Bella thinking she was so young and have to pay out of pocket for every single test and scan or treatment.
On 1st June, she went under anaesthesia to run xrays and an ultrasound where a tumour was found on her chest.
She was admitted to a animal hospital as an emergency during the evening where they stabalised her.
2nd June, she had a CT scan where the cancer was confirmed on her chest and found in her abdomen.
The vet and hospital bills are piling up and this was a cost we didn't see coming.
We are still keeping her in hospital and the fluid around her chest had to be drained regularly for her to be able to breathe.
She looks normal, she's still happy however if we don't take action now she will deteriorate rapidly.
I don't want to give up on Bella because of money and this is why I'm reaching to the community for help.
This happened suddenly and until the night before Bella was playing and eating her favourite food and trying to drink water out of the kitchen sink tap!
The vet has told us in these sorts of situations chemotherapy can work.
Anything you can donate big or small will help pay towards a scan or chemotherapy.
Even helping by sharing the link for this page will make a massive difference.
Please for my Bella, help us raise money to give her a chance. She hasn't had a chance to even live a life.
