This has been one of the most emotionally exhausting weeks of my entire life.

I need help and I need to put my pride aside in order for that to happen.

**DISCLAIMER** I’ve attached photos at the end of this but please do not look if you are easily nauseated.

To keep it brief:

Last Saturday Bella was bit by a Brown Recluse spider just below her vulva.

The venom caused severe tissue damage and swelling.

As a result, the skin has become necrotic.

(Necrotic tissue is a medical condition in which there are dead cells in your body organ causing the area to "die" off. Necrotizing soft tissue infections are a medical emergency. The key to treatment is emergency surgery to remove as much of the affected tissues as possible. This debridement may be extensive and disfiguring.)

Surgery could not take place until the spread had declared itself (aka stopped spreading).

I'm solely responsible for her so this resulted in an entire week of me taking care of her around the clock. (Constant cleaning of oozing wounds, hot compress, hand feeding, administering medicines and antibiotics on a rigorous schedule, etc...)

Fast forward to today - I dropped her off for surgery and I now have to come up with 10 Grand for this procedure due to her needing to be hospitalized for a few days.

(This is a rough number as the estimate that was given to me has a low end of 8K and high estimate of 15K if there are any complications).

This cost is just for the surgery.....this does not include the 2K that I paid for preliminary testing and ER visits when this initially all went down.

I haven't been able to work as much & this is the biggest financial risk I have ever taken, but if you know me, you know that Bella is my entire world.

I would never compromise her own wellbeing for my own but after a week of meditating on what I should do I truly feel that she can overcome this.
