Hi, we have just rescued two German sheppards from a farm that has been put under investigation by the rspca for animal cruelty and neglect,

Bella- she has been heavily bred, it appears she has also had her ear cut with a sharp object perhaps scissors, she has also been shot with a pellet gun in the middle of her head. We have removed two pellets already, but she needs to have an xray to see if there is any damage to her skull or tissues. We are going to struggle to pay for the vetinary bills with this rescue being so quick and unexpected. She also is very lame in her legs so this needs to be investigated Can you help?. Coiler- is a young 2 year old German sheppard who is severely malnourished, underweight and clearly hasn't been treated correct. She is shy and slowly building trust with us. It appears she has been hurt by humans as she is very unsure of people, she does have a very loving side to her especially with children. We would like to raise some funds to ensure the care she needs to get back to a healthy weight is met. And we'd also like to get her a good MOT vet appointment to make sure she isn't hiding any unexpected issues.

Hey just got back home.

Coiler is 22.6kg so very underweight and malnourished as we expected. Plan of action for her is to get her to 28kg then book her for spaying. then build her weight to 29-30kg

Bella- is 36.7kg

She has been given antibiotics and antiinflamatory atm for her bullet wound as she has an internal infection. There is some puss when vet pressed. Still not healed. - she requires 7 days of these and pain relief , she then needs an xray to see if she has any damage to her skull as some suspicious clear fluid suspected spinal fluid... mentioned getting her spayed. The xray Is £250. The spaying is £325.

If we have the xray and spayed done at the same time. They will do it for £475

So £100 off. If they need to remove any remaining pellets e.c.t they can do this at the same time.

The vet wants us to book her in for 1 weeks time. They do xray scans e.c.t at this place. Gives us a week to fundraise.

Total cost today £69.97. So not too bad for consultation and bellas medication.

Coiler spayed- will be £375.
