Belize, Here We Come!

Hello Everyone!

For those of you that do not know us, our names are Bianca, Devin, Eunice, Joe & Vince. The five of us are nursing students at West Coast University working towards attaining our BSN. Recently, we were selected as candidates for our school's Global Public Health Program and will be studying abroad in Punta Gorda, Belize for two weeks. We, alongside five other colleagues from our school's five campuses, will have the opportunity to aid an under-resourced community while being able to practice our nursing skills in another country. 

If you would like to support us in helping the people of Punta Gorda, Belize, you can do so by making monetary donations so that we can purchase items to provide to Hillside Health Care. Hillside Health Care, a non-profit organization serving a very low resourced community has requested the following items:

-Lice treatment
-Nitrile gloves (small and medium) 
-Rolled bandages (stretch, 3”x75”) 
-Diabetic lancets 
-Cough drops 
-Lotions 
-Eye drops 
-Dandruff shampoo (Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue, etc)
-Chux (absorbent pads)
-Over the counter medications (Tylenol, Advil, etc)
-Travel size toothpaste 
-Alcohol swabs 

We do not leave for our trip for another three weeks from now, so if you would like to make any physical donations for us to pick up, we can make the arrangement to meet with you! Our campaign will end on November 16 so that we can withdraw the funds from our Gofundme account and start purchasing items.
