Belize & 2024 Missions

Hey y’all! I hope this post finds you well. I am “Ty” Densel Ball for those who don’t know me, and I have some amazing opportunities coming up for ministry this summer. The first of which is to join a mission team (& my first missions trip) to Belize with JOY international. JOY International is dedicated to the prevention of child trafficking and to the freedom, healing, and empowerment of trafficked children, teens, and young adults worldwide. The purpose of the trip in Belize is focused on serving and loving survivors of human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse, and those who are at high risk for these things. The team I am with will lead camps and service opportunities to show these at-risk youth and their families how valuable, and loved they are, educate them on the tactics used by human-traffickers, and most importantly the opportunity to share The Gospel with them.

During this trip I also have the unique opportunity to run a soccer camp for the kids, but also for the men in the area. Giving the team & I an opportunity to talk about The Gospel with these men, who are the pillars and leaders of their community. We have exciting plans for this trip. My passions are soccer and Jesus, so I’m Blessed to have an opportunity to see God work in these destitute rural areas where the love of Jesus is seldom known.
