Hi, I’m Belita and I am a fifth-year Music Education major at Youngstown State University. I am about to enter my final semester as a student teacher and graduate this December. Recently, I’ve been presented an opportunity to attend the “Summer Music Study in Hungary” (more information in the link provided). One of the voice professors from YSU, Dr. Misook Yun, is one of the coaches involved in the program and brought the trip to my attention. Initially, the possibility of me going looked slim. However, more recent events have proved otherwise. Some of my classmates will be attending the trip as well. The cost is $3300 (excluding food for money and other expenses). I have already received a $300 donation. As a future music educator, I am constantly looking for ways to gain more knowledge and more wisdom on my career focus, voice teaching/choir directing. The payment and application is due 4/30 (which I know is a real short time frame). But in spite of timing, worries, and fears, I still believe and thank God for His provision!
