On Sunday morning, Belinda Mountjoy (also known as MJ to her staff), Principal in the Everett School District, suffered a devastating fire at her home. She was not home at the time so she is safe, but she lost everything including her 3 beloved pets, her babies.

Many are already asking what they can do to help, so we wanted to give a place where friends, neighbors and staff of Everett School District could bless her with a gift for essentials she will need in the coming days. Nothing that was in the home could be salvaged. She is understandably in shock and has very mixed feelings about receiving help but she agreed to allow us to start this page because there is, in fact, a great need at this time. This is all very overwhelming as she regroups and grieves this loss.

We love you, MJ, and as a community, we will stand by you and support you through this tragedy. Thank you for all you do everyday for students and for all your friends and staff members, both inside and outside of school. You are a bright light!
