Believing is Seeing

Dear Friends, Family, and Angel Funders,

Sérgio Franco, my lovely husband who is an amazing teacher, writer, researcher, visual arts curator, son, brother,  and friend, has been facing the challenges of a progressive degenerative auto immune disease, MS. It is a beast, but we are rising to the challenge, and with your help Sérgio will slay the monster. 

This campaign aims to raise funds for an adipose-tissue derived stem cell transplant in San Diego. The treatment appears to have the ability to curb the progress of the disease and alleviate the symptoms. Hopefully, this will dramatically improve his quality of life,  and thus allow him to fulfill his many personal, academic and artistic dreams.
