Last April our family was hit with the devastating news that my mother was diagnosed with cancer. A very tough time but a time that was helped by the incredible support of the Friends of Cancer Centre whose 3 key areas of support are patient support, specialist staff and cancer research. However they rely heavily on donations and fundraising to continue their work, so this year 4 friends and myself will be running the Belfast marathon in a relay to raise much needed funds for the centre as a thank you for all the hard work and dedication they put in to make our lives easier in a tough time.
