BELEZA Foundation & Alzheimer’s Society

Hello we are Carly and Lucy and we shall be walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks on 26th April 2025. The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a 24miles (38.6km) round trip route and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. Ingleborough, Whernside, Pen-y-ghent. We aim to this within 12 hours.

We are raising funds to support the Beleza Foundation which was set up in memory of Ryan Sobek who took his own life on Thursday 28th July 2022 after battling with his mental health. The Beleza Foundation is a fund that will support men by providing financial support and a variety of resources to help men focus on their wellbeing and mental health.

Our second charity is the Alzheimer’s Society which is close to our hearts. Sadly Lucy’s grandmother and more recently her father both suffered with this disease. Lucy’s father Andrew Birnie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in his 50’s robbing him of his retirement and passed away in October 2022.

Sadly both men’s mental health and Alzheimer’s disease affect so many and raising awareness and any funds to support these causes will help! Please donate whatever you can.
