December 22nd 2019, Lola was admitted to the hospital with aggressive pneumonia, Lola had already been battling lung disease for several years so unfortunately the virus spread quickly, severely impacting her already weakened health.  The respiratory team did all they could right up until the end when Lola was ready to transition.  

January 6th 2020 at 10:51pm, Lola Edith Belcourt transitioned surrounded by her loving family.  Lola had her sense of humor and power with her at all times throughout this journey.  Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. 


Celebrations of Life and cremation services are very expensive and in a time of great loss, worrying about where the money to cover these expenses will come from should not be something any family should have to worry about.  

Family, friends and community we hope you can come together to raise the funds needed to help the Belcourt Family honour the life of their Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother in love and tradition.
