I'm reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit. Recently, I experienced a life-altering accident when I fell down the stairs, resulting in a fracture in my foot. Unfortunately, the injury led to a severe complication—a blood clot in my leg that extended over a foot in length. This required immediate Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) surgery, during which I was awake, leading to significant trauma and resulting in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Despite the surgery, I still have a portion of the blood clot in my leg that couldn't be removed, posing ongoing health risks.

My time in the hospital was particularly challenging, as I spent a period in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to the severity of my condition. The experience was not only physically taxing but also emotionally draining, compounded by inadequate care from hospital staff.

Now, I am facing a long road to recovery. I am currently immobilized and dependent on a walker to move around. My days are filled with constant doctor’s appointments, therapy sessions, and physical therapy, all of which are essential for my healing process. Additionally, I am on a regimen of blood thinner shots and will soon transition to oral blood thinners, which adds to the financial burden.

As someone who values independence and hard work, asking for help is not easy for me. However, the medical bills and therapy costs are overwhelming, and I need your support to navigate this challenging time.
