Belange in Haiti needs help

This is my friend Marcel in Haiti. He was my interpreter and body guard when I was there after the 2010 earthquake. He is the right-hand assistant for Pastor Joseph Aristal's school in Port-au-Prince (see video at 25:14). Marcel coaches a kids soccer team and we thought how great it would be to take a Canadian soccer team there and bring his team back here. We have kept in touch over the years.
A few years ago Marcel was shot in the arm on his way home from Church! He has recovered fully. However, now his wife, Belange, has serious medical conditions. She has several fibroids in and outside her uterus, several cysts on her ovaries, as well as sickle cell anemia! She is in SEVERE pain! It sounds very similar to what my own wife went through a few years ago. I never saw anyone in SUCH AGONY & I never felt so helpless in my life!!
We are SO fortunate to have the medical system we have here in Canada!!! When my wife was sick the one thing we did not have to worry about was how to pay for it. Marcel and Belange are not so lucky. They need $2000 US to pay for treatments. Seems like a bargain in contrast to our medical costs - but it might as well be a million $ to them!?
