On July 11th, as a storm rolled through Wake Forest, lightening struck and hit our Baseball friends Brian and Marci Beisecker's home in the Stonegate subdivision, causing their house to engulf in flames and be unsalvageable. They were out of town at the time for their son Matthew's baseball tournament. They received this unimaginable phone call and this is what they came home to. They are now currently displaced and looking for a home to rent as this one will need to be bulldozed and rebuilt. In the meantime, they have nothing other than the items they had while on their trip. It would be great to be able to raise money for them to be able to get simple things just to get by. Imagine starting from complete scratch with nothing. They do have insurance, but who knows how long it'll take, and they need a lot of things right this moment. Our boys have been on a couple baseball teams together and we have known them for years. If you have or have ever had kids in a sport, you are one big family. And that's exactly what we are, one big baseball family. Their son attends Heritage high school as a rising sophomore.
It would be great to come together and help them out so they can purchase clothes, shoes, items for daily life, meals, ect.
Thank you so much for considering!
