Beirut - St Georges Hospital - reconstruction
Donation protected
To all who have the ability and kindness in their heart to help
As we all saw in the last few days, the shear destruction is of huge proportions and of proportions that is very hard for a country like Lebanon to be able to cope with alone.
When I saw the images, the closest images that reminded me of what was happening was the 2010 Haiti earthquake for which I had organised at the time a fundraiser.
It is therefore with great sadness, anger and humbleness that I am starting this fundraiser to help in any way I can a broken and destroyed city Beirut, the city that I always loved.
I have chosen the organisation to rebuild the Beirut hospitals which have been destroyed and more particularly the St Georges Hospital in which someone that I know has past away during the blast.
As I plan to travel to Lebanon to visit my family in the next few weeks, rest assured that the funds will be given by me directly to a Non profit, non government organisation (NGO) that is directly involved in the rebuilding of the hospitals.
I do know that times are tough, but for those that can and have the ability to give, I am very thankful on behalf of my family and the Lebanese people.
Thank you for your generosity.
