UPDATE: On July 13th 2020, it was announced all fitness centers must cease all indoor operations, and as an all indoor facility, we are mandated to close our doors one more time.
Just as last time, we will not be doing any billing whatsoever, and all prepaid accounts are on a hold.
We are extremely grateful for the time we were allowed to open, to see all our members again and reunite the community. Once again, we turn to this platform to open the opportunity for our members to support our business and employees. We are working hard to make our gym a safe place for all members, and we are eager to reopening, again!

We are a small gym that has been serving the San Diego Clairemont community since 1990, with the mission to create a community to experience being fit.
The current circumstances due to COVID-19 have very reasonably caused all gyms to shut down for all business operations, effective March 19th. We understand this has affected everybody in the country in one way or another, which is why we made the very obvious decision to not bill anybody while we are closed. This is the right thing to do for all of our members, but this has caused 100% of our income to abruptly stop until it is appropriate and safe to open our doors again.
As a small business, we could not have prepared for something of this magnitude. We care about our employees and we do not want to turn our backs during these very difficult times, this is why we are looking for as many alternatives as possible.
We are applying for all the loans and grants that come our way. We also communicated with our members the option of paying their monthly dues if they wish to do so and if their circumstance allows them to. Looking through the many emails we received of members supporting our business was very surprising and heartwarming, and will forever be grateful.
Throughout this process, we were able to notice a significant amount of our members still wanted to show their support but have a membership through their health insurance. We contacted the programs that hold most of the senior memberships explaining the situation and asking if they were able to send a partial compensation for those members who still wanted to support us, but they said it would not be possible.
This is why we have created this fundraiser. This opens the door for anybody that is able to and wishes to contribute to do so easily. We want to emphasize, we are not expecting donations, but we wanted to open the platform for those who wish to support our business and employees.
All donations will go towards covering the health insurance bill, support to our employees all of which have been financially impacted, and to cover essential bills.
We acknowledge how priceless is the support of a strong community such as ours and we are extremely thankful with each and everyone of our members. Together we will be able to come back stronger than ever.
