Hi Jessica here, I started writing a play in London for an event called Theatripy. For this event, 5 plays and a film were written and based on mental health themes. Funds were raised for the mental health charity, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably). When I returned to Ireland, I received an Agility Award from the Arts Council of Ireland in 2023 to develop this particular play, "Behind The Drag," so feel it’s high time for this baby of mine to pursue the live stage in front of Irish audiences. Of course, to do this I have to secure funds to pay for cast and crew to make this happen. If you can donate anything to a struggling artist (sob), you would be making their artistic vision come true and to have an entertaining show for our audiences to see.
