BEFORE THE END Short Film

THE MISSION

We ~Mindy and Nicole~ are SO excited to be joining forces on this collaboration to produce a powerful and competitive short film. Before the End is not only a sincere passion project, but also an exciting stepping stone in our careers as actors and filmmakers. Upon completion, the film will be submitted to festivals worldwide!

Your donations will go towards production costs such as location rentals, equipment rentals, crew & cast salaries, props, etc., amounting to over $10,000.

This film shoots at the end of May 2025, and any and all support is greatly appreciated. 

 

THE FILM

Before the End is a science fiction based exploration about combating the grief of saying goodbye to our loved ones too soon. It's our hope to intrigue, surprise, and remind audiences just how precious this life is.

TEAM BIOS

Nicole Gellman, Writer/Director

An actor and filmmaker from Ontario Canada, Nicole received her B.F.A. in Theater Performance and B.A. in Filmmaking from the University of Michigan. As a filmmaker, Nicole has worked with Disney+, Audible, Hulu, StorQuest, RE/MAX, FitBit, and the Emmy Award winning PBS Docu-series "Artbound". She recently worked on the post production team for Another Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig, coming to Amazon Prime on May 1st.

 

Mindy Venner, Producer/Assistant Director

An actor, director and producer. Originally from Montreal, Canada, she received a B.F.A. Theatre from Concordia University and worked on multiple independent films and shorts, as well as directing and performing in numerous theatre productions. Now based in Los Angeles, Mindy was most recently in the SAG short Serbian On Set and modeled for LA Fashion Week.
