Hi
I’m Ian and I'm asking for a donation towards a friend’s cat.
With so many requests for funding it is not easy to “compete”, but we are not competing, we are asking for the usual Worcester neighbourly kindness to help a young couple in their sudden hike in vet’s bills to help the cat they rescued.
in their words …

Burrito isn’t just our cat — he’s part of the community.
Many of you will know him as the friendly face curled up in a sunny corner of the pub, or on our shoulders on our walks, always ready for a head scratch or a quiet sit beside you after a long day.
Right now, our beloved Burrito needs help.
He has been struggling with ongoing urinary issues for some time, something that requires careful monitoring, medication, and, at times, urgent veterinary care. Recently, he’s had the worst flare-up he’s experienced in a long while. What started as concern quickly became an emergency, and he’s needed immediate treatment to keep him comfortable and safe.
At the same time, we’ve been hit with unexpected personal hardship. After recently being made redundant, we’re doing everything we can to stay afloat — but the sudden and significant vet bills have become overwhelming.
We would do anything for Burrito. He’s family. But right now, we can’t do it alone.
We’re raising funds to cover:
* Emergency veterinary treatment for this recent flare-up
* Medication, tests, and follow-up visits to keep him stable and pain-free
Every single contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward Burrito’s care. And if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Burrito has given so much comfort, warmth, and joy to so many people. If you’ve ever smiled because of him, sat with him, or simply enjoyed knowing he was nearby — we’re asking for your help to give that care back to him now.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for supporting our (not so) little cat.

So the funds will go solely towards the now regular treatment of Burito which will be ongoing for years. He seems like he is getting back to normal Beets, then more blood in the urine and poor kidneys.
We can't thank you enough for helping out.

Even if you don't know Burito's parents directly, we all know times are financially tough and they are doing ok keeping their heads above water, then Burito got this!!
His hooman's are incredibly touched by, and grateful for, the generosity.
