Uncle Bee’s Ongoing Battle
My Uncle Bee Kue at the age of 32, is a father of three ages nine, four, and three years old. He was diagnosed with Aortic Dissection two years ago. Leading up to surgery, he made numerous trips to Boston. Having to leave behind his family to overcome what was ahead, Uncle Bee was ultimately diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. He underwent thirteen hours of Open Aortic Surgery, a surgical procedure that my grandfather (his father) passed away 7 years ago. Uncle Bee’s medical conditions made him unable to return to work. He loved what he was doing, passionate about his job but was incapable of performing.
During his recovery, he suffered from depression. Auntie Sitha became the primary financial provider for the family. With only one income into the household the family eventually lost their house. He has been fighting for the last two years to receive disability insurance but with no employment it has exhausted all hope for him to be strong for his kids.
As his oldest niece who is only fourteen years old, I realize the challenges his family still has to overcome. With this gofund, I’m hoping that you consider making a generous donation to help Uncle Bee and his family. Each dollar counts and will make much less of a burden. Thank you for any size contribution!
