I just wanted to start off by saying exactly what's going on. So a couple weeks ago Beerus (my roommates cat) was acting fairly strange. He was going to the washroom randomly outside his box at first. So I did research to the best of my abilities to see if there was anything I could do to help him. After trying to help him out he seemed to go back to normal for about 2 weeks. Two days ago we found him squatting like he was trying to go to the washroom and couldn't. If we moved him he would cry and when we checked him out we saw he was bleeding.

He was brought to the emergency vet and they said his bladder was completely full and he had a blockage and weren't sure how severe the problem is. He is there for 2 days, has had a catheter put in, blood work done, X-rays and whatever else he needs. If the blockage is serious enough he may need surgery

The initial cost of the vet visit was $4000 which honestly is a ridiculous amount to have to pay and the only alternative was to bring him home and watch it get worse.

If he does end up needing additional care than we have no idea how we are going to be able to cover it for him

No one has $4000 to just casually spend. Even with all of us we still can't cover the costs without going into debt. So I am here asking for any sort of help you are able to offer. This baby cat means the world to all of us who live in this house. He is the sweetest most gentle cat I've ever met.
