On Saturday, November 13th, Matthew Beers was in a serious ATV accident. Miraculously he’s still with us but is in the ICU with multiple fractures and is facing a long road to recovery.

Matt, Kristen, Lexie and Carsen have many things to figure out and worry about but we don’t want finances to be one of them, especially with the holidays approaching.

Time and the proper medical care will be key to as full of a recovery as possible and we don’t want Matt rushing back to normal life and risking that recovery. Recovery will involve more physio then Matthew’s benefits will cover, possibly private duty nursing care, and a length of time past EI sickness benefits. Caring for Matt will mean also lost income for Kristen.

While we all sit at home unable to even visit him in the hospital, we figure this is the best help we can be right now. 

Anything helps with paying bills and getting medical care and equipment. If you’d rather give a gift card, please contact Melody Mercer or Don Beers. Ideas for gift cards include: gas, groceries, hydro (NB Power), help with Christmas shopping, restaurants or pharmacies.

Matt, Kristen and the kids are so grateful for your thoughts, prayers, messages, good wishes and help.
