Just this past week CWO (Retd) Terry Beers Jr suffered a major cardiac incident that caused severe damage, splitting his aorta from his heart to his stomach and damaging his valves. The true fighter that he is Terry made it through surgery and has made it from a 10% chance of survival to approximately 70%. He remains heavily sedated and is fighting infection; fighting for his life. 

Terry and his wife Sue reside 2 1/2 hours away from the hospital where Terry is currently recovering. As we can all imagine, accommodations and travel are a major unexpected expense for the immediate family to rally around him and be there for him during what is expected to be a long recovery.   Travel expenses will include flights for children and grandchildren to come to Terry's side.

Let's show Sue, Terry and ourselves how strong our military community is and how we can be here for one another in times of need. There’s strength in numbers; if each of us give a little it will amount to a lot and will help out our comrade and his family!
