Phyllis and Doug have had a very taxing few years. Rebuilding after 2 floods, a complete underground pipe replacement, all the while trying to get a diagnoses and treatment for Doug's health ailments. Phyllis continues to work a full time job, at 40+ a week, as well as taking care of Doug. She has been his sole caretaker for the last 5 years. He has been in and out of hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and home for many years. The last hospital and rehabilitation stay fell during the covid crisis, which has put a limit on their ability to see each other, as well as Phyllis's ability to track and motivate his progress. Phyllis was given until the 25th of June to locate an extended care facility to send Doug to, as he requires around the clock care that cannot be provided at home. Phyllis has exhausted all of her options, and needs our help. She is always there when anyone need her. It's our time to help her. Every bit helps.
