Information about Bury Hospice: For over 30 years Bury Hospice has provided free palliative and end-of-life care to people in the local community with a life-limiting illness. They look after a population of over 190,000, in the Metropolitan Borough of Bury. It is a diverse area of six separate and distinct towns, Bury, Prestwich, Whitefield, Radcliffe, Tottington and Ramsbottom and many of our patients are from areas of high deprivation within the borough. They are regarded as a community asset, delivering the Palliative and End of Life Care needs to many in the area. Their main vision is the focus on early support and intervention working closely with our community partners.
