Julie was one of those people who filled a room without even trying — funny, caring, loud in the best way, and always ready with a laugh. Losing her to a brain tumour turned my world upside down, and for a long time I didn’t know how to move forward at all.
With time, tears, and a lot of deep breaths, I’ve found the strength to accept what has happened and to do something positive in her name. I can’t change what brain tumours have taken from us, but I can help raise funds for research, better treatments, and hopefully one day, a cure — so other families don’t have to feel this pain.
So here I am… running a marathon. I don’t exercise. I don’t like running. I actively avoid it. Which makes this a huge challenge — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Every mile will hurt, but every mile will be for Julie, and for everyone affected by brain tumours.
Please support if you can, however small. Every donation, message, or share truly means the world — and I know Julie would be laughing her head off at the thought of me doing this.
Please share the page and help me to raise as much as possible.
Thank you
