Hello everyone! Myself, (Emma) Claire and Ellen are in our third year at University, training to be Primary School teachers. We have been linked up with a primary school this year to 'Make Change Happen'! The primary school that we are very excited to be partnered up with is English Martyrs Catholic Primary School, where they have asked us to create a bee friendly sensory garden. The picture above is the space that we are working with.
Our vision, is to create an area where the children, teachers and parents can access to reflect and find a peaceful moment in their busy lives. We hope to fill the sensory garden with beautiful plants that will be a source of nectar for bees and many other wildlife.
To be able to achieve this we need as much support as possible, so any money that you could contribute would be very appreciated by us and the community of children, teachers and parents at English Martyrs Catholic Primary School.
As we make progress we will update you all with photos so that you can have a clear image of what this space is going to be turned in to!
