Bee Cave business gas fund

In partnership with the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce, the City of Bee Cave initiated a gas fund for our business community. As a result, the Economic Development Board agreed to match up to $15,000 of funds raised for the gas cards.

Our businesses' # 1 struggle is adequate staffing. Since the rise in gas prices, this struggle has enhanced with workers struggling to fill their gas tanks to get to work.

The gas fund concept originated at Mayor King's last business roundtable from one of our small businesses, Ben Archer - State Farm Insurance.

Mr.Archer and nine other businesses kicked off the program by each contributing $380 into the initial gas fund, which allowed us a chance to request a $15,000 match from the Economic Development Board - which they granted!

Please help us reach our $10,000 goal, so our local businesses can stay staffed, and eligible workers in the Bee Cave city limits can apply for monthly gas cards to help them get to and from work.
