Bedlam Farm Wildlife Rescue Van Fundraiser
Donation protected
My name is Cassie I run Bedlam Farm Wildlife Rescue in a small village near Lincoln,
I run my rescue single handedly and rely solely on the kindness of the general public and businesses to support the voluntary work I do to save our much loved Wildlife x
Bedlam Farm Wildlife Rescue is a none profit rescue , my doors are open to all sick, injured and orphaned Wildlife all year round, 7 days a week , I also help with stray domestic pets when I can too x
Sadly my old van I've had for 18 years has come to the end of its life on the road , leaving me without a much needed vehicle for the rescue, I rely massively on having transport for the rescue x
My base for the rescue is from my home in Marton, but I rely on my van daily for the rescue, vital vet trips, collecting feed, bedding ect, taking rubbish to the tip , running events, collecting donated items, taking animals back out for release and most importantly collecting injured, sick or orphaned wild animals and bringing them to my rescue x
Bedlam Farm Wildlife Rescue has become well known now, the general public rely on me throughout the local communities, villages, towns and now from further away.
I get tagged to help animals on Facebook daily x
I recieve call and messages everyday for wildlife in need x
It's so important I have transport to get out to those in need, especially over the spring and summer months when breeding season is well underway x
Many do transport small animals they find to me themselves which is wonderful, but many depend on my help to collect that are elderly, disabled, don't drive , or just scared to pick up the animal they have found.
Very often it's either not safe to advice people to transport certain wild animals safely, or just unsafe to ask them to handle them at all
Often animals are stuck on house rooves, in gates, down holes , across rivers , down chimneys and its a job for an experienced rehabber not the general public ,
Very often animals need pain relief and wounds wrapping or injuries stabilising before it's possible to transport them, and very often it's a direct trip straight to the vets for treatment or sadly to end the animals suffering x
Experience is needed handling Wildlife and can be dangerous if the finders try to secure them themselves, so it's incredibly important I can get out to those in need x
I know times are tough for everyone and there are so many rescues needing support right now, but the work I do for our wildlife is so so important , i work tirelessly hard every day to help animals in need , honestly every single penny adds up , every single donation however small would be massively massively appreciated x
I have now found a perfect little van for the rescue, I just need your help to purchase it , so that I can continue the vital work I do for our previous Wildlife and I'm here to help when you need me x
Huge huge heartfelt thankyous in advance
