Beddingfield Family Relief Fund

Alexander "Ed" Beddingfield is the Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He and his family (wife Sarah, daughters Shannon and Meghan) joined the Memorial Family in April 2015.
At our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Ed assured us that God is with us even in times of great darkness. Later that evening that darkness visited him, his family, and our congregation as Ed’s sweet wife Sarah died in a fire at their home.
Their daughter Shannon was injured in the fire and was taken to the Burn Unit at UNC Hospital. Shannon is stable; her biggest concern is smoke inhalation and burns on her face and hands.
The family's Lillington home and all of their belongings were lost in the fire. Ed and daughter Meghan have relocated temporarily to a property in Buies Creek.
From 2001-2015 Ed was the pastor of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Before that, he served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Sylva, Warrenton Baptist Church in Warrenton, and Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
Sarah retired as a public school teacher, and most recently spent her days working part-time at the Harentt County Public Library in Lillington.
Shannon and Meghan are both currently pursuing doctoral degrees.
