"Bed 'n Bloodshed" WCU Webseries Fundraiser
We are raising money to bring to life Western Carolina University's third ever webseries entitled "Bed 'n Bloodshed," filming March 5th-7th and March 12th-14th! Created by Rachel Spagnoletti and Ben Koziel.

In this dark comedy, Samantha Meyers, a mercy killer, operates a quaint bed ‘n breakfast to lure in lonely, sad travelers to make her next victims. Her biggest goal is to become a member of an esteemed serial killer group and prove that she is good at what she does. When an inspector comes into her home and almost discovers her secret, blood gets spilled and secrets must be kept in order to get the two of them out alive.
The money raised in this fundraiser will go toward many important costs such as props, set design, costuming, actors' compensation, craft services, post-production, as well as ensuring we can maintain proper safety protocols in order to protect our cast and crew from COVID-19. With such a big cast of fun characters in this series it will be hard work to make sure that everyone remains safe and healthy while on set, but your financial contributions will give us more tools and opportunities needed to alleviate that process!
While our fundraiser goal may seem lofty, it would cover many of the expenses that will not only get this project made, but can get it sent off to festivals afterward. Sadly the world of entertainment is not cheap, but every dollar counts toward getting "Bed 'n Bloodshed" into the public eye!
This series has been created by Rachel Spagnoletti and Ben Koziel, supported by our Producer Sophie Trybom, Assistant Producer Cassidy Burns, Executive Producer Brenda Lilly, and our insanely talented room of writers who each aided in crafting this 5-episode webseries to bloody, comedic perfection. This is a project created by students who have split the time between difficult classes, working jobs, and navigating a pandemic as best they can.
