About the Project

Becoming Zombie centers around Mia and Abby; two roommates experiencing, what seems to be, the beginning of a zombie apocalypse. While news reports hint at the warning signs, Mia must come to the realization that her carefree valley-girl roommate might be a little more absent-minded than usual.

Becoming Zombie is a winning script for the Place Called Sacramento Film Festival. The competition starts as a screenwriting contest, then ten scripts are chosen to be filmed and produced over the summer. All ten films will premiere at the Crest Theater in downtown Sacramento on October 13th, 2023.
