Becoming A Lizard fashion film

Hi, my name is Amrita Li Newton (director) and alongside two friends, Carmen Flood (DP) and Mckenna Slone (actor and choreographer), an idea was born for a fashion film. Imagine a highly choreographed and visceral narrative fashion film that takes place in an unassuming and simple town where two sisters dream of shedding their skin and turning into lizards. We will be shooting with a Super 8 camera, as well as with a camcorder and DSLR. We will be sourcing unique clothing and working alongside brands and dancers to create a piece of film that can showcase a multitude of artworks at once.

We will be utilizing the funds to purchase/rent clothing, jewelry, materials for the set, lighting, and film for the super 8 camera.
