Becoming a Licensed Chemical Dependacy Councelor

Hello Everyone,
I am a 33 year old African-American male who hasn’t always made the best decisions in life. Still, I can say that for the last year I have dedicated myself to the commitment of changing this. I have a 7 year old daughter and I have been able to care for her with a very minimal quality of life. I really want more for her. I have been maintaining service industry jobs, but this is just not going to suffice, moving forward.
One of the main determining factors in this life shift is that I stopped drinking and wasting time in places that I used in order to fill a void and numb the feelings of inadequacy. In this process of "waking up" to new personal growth, I have recognized that my experiences have positioned me to be a person that would be very helpful in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Refraining form numbing my feeling has opened me up to feeling for others in a way in a way that really comes from a very deep place. By no means do I think that I am a "healed superhero" now. Instead, I know that I am a person who is healing by seeking to understand my scars and acknowledging the circumstances that left me vulnerable to being hurt in the first place.
Today, I am coming to you to ask for help in pursuing the better life that I want so badly. For the summers of 2019 and 2020 I have taken courses for my Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor certification and I am on schedule to receive a 4.0 gpa for the 2020 summer semester. I have borrowed from my younger brother, who is in the Navy, and I have put all of any extra money I had into paying for these classes. Any help from you would be so genuinely appreciated and I assure you that any assistance you offer is an investment into a brighter future for me and my family.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
