My name is Kamran Najian and I am a refugee in Turkey. I am writing to you on behalf of the countless LGBT refugees who were forced to escape their homes, families, and friends, and seek asylum just for being different.  They are alone, depressed, and hopeless.

This holiday season, my boyfriend and I are helping IRQR and leading a group of volunteers in order to bring hope and happiness to fellow refugees by providing them with things they need most. This includes, but is not limited to, temporary shelter costs, food, winter clothing, medications, heating materials/equipment and some fun gifts for kids.

We have identified 45 refugees in Turkey who are most in need of your help this winter. We believe that a donation of only $50.00 per refugee would provide them with the assistance they desperately need. Our goal is to raise $2,250.00 and as always we are counting on your help and support.

To that end, we are asking you to become one of 45 supporters to become Secret Santa for a refugee and donate $50.00 to IRQR. If you are able to, we welcome you to become Secret Santa for more than one refugee. While our aim is to provide assistance to 45 refugees, we will be happy to expand that number if we have more Secret Santa candidates.  Please do not forget to ask your friends and families to take part and contribute!
