Become one of Huey's Heroes!

Hello, we are reaching out to you to join in with our family to become one of Huey’s Heroes! Huey is a 15 month-old bundle of energy who is a spaghetti-eating, Ms. Rachel lovin’ little guy! In November, he took a tumble off the bed (or maybe God nudged him) and headed to the ER. When they did scans to find out if there were any head injuries, they found a brain tumor. The following Monday he had brain surgery to remove the mass. During the post-surgery scans another mass on his kidney was found and a week later he had another surgery to remove a mass on his kidney. We are still meeting with specialists to determine his treatment plan and when any type of treatment will be started. None of this has been easy on our family, we are leaning on our faith in God and knows that He has our family covered in love. We are determined to fight this battle with all our strength!

Although we have great insurance, there will still be some medical bills as well as travel, lodging, and meals on top of daily living expenses. Any contributions to our GoFundMe will be used strictly for medical bills, travel expenses, any other specialized care needed and to provide help with daily living expenses. If we have any leftover donations we will be donating them to a charity that helps families that are in a similar situation as we are.

Any donations are truly and deeply appreciated. Anything, no matter how small, will be used to help Huey be as comfortable and cared for as possible and to help the family through this difficult time.

We are incredibly grateful for all of the support, prayers, and check-in’s that we have received over the last few months and are forever thankful to everyone. We know we have an immense community of support behind Huey and our family and that all things are possible! Please continue to pray for Huey, his doctors and care teams, and our family.
