My name is Louis Cacchione, I am a documentary filmmaker from New Jersey. Since March 2025, I’ve been on the ground filming protests outside Delaney Hall, an immigrant detention center in Newark, New Jersey. What began as local coverage quickly turned into something far more explosive. I captured the unfolding events that led up to Mayor Ras Baraka’s dramatic arrest in front of the facility.

This documentary tells a story the national media missed. One of resistance, power, and accountability. But to finish it right, I need your help.
